Opened in 2013 by Bridget Dunn and Jeff Kennedy, Prefab Cafe serves simply delicious, seasonal food, Acme coffee and bread along with table service drinks (licensed for beer and wine), specials, and free wifi in a super-buzzy atmos. You can’t book a table but you’ll never wait for long, with capacity of 180 — things move along in a steady clip.

Acme Coffee is sampled, tested and enjoyed by hundreds of people everyday at Prefab — either as espresso or as a bottomless filter. Bakery items are fresh from the ovens throughout the day, but time it right and you’ll be able to take home a still-warm Oli Loaf for dinner.
