Sipi Falls is one of Uganda’s best-known specialty coffee regions, situated around the dramatic waterfalls on the northern slopes of Mount Elgon in the Kapchorwa District. The coffee is grown by smallholder farmers across the surrounding highlands. The combination of high elevation, volcanic soils and a cool mountain climate gives these coffees a distinctive sweetness and lively citrus acidity.
